Naruto and company control fairly well during the fighting sections. The game strictly follows the Naruto Shippuden storyline and it starts out with Naruto returning to the Leaf Village for the first time in three years (Spoiler Alert: The gameĮven though a hefty section of the game does take place from a 3rd person perspective, all of the action takes place in a traditional 3D fighting game format. In fact most of the game resembles a 3rd person platformer more than it does a strict fighting game. This is not the case the Ultimate Ninja Storm 2.

Leaving casual fans a bit clueless as to what is really going on. Creating a fighting that game satisfies those fan’s high expectations is impossible. The fans are usually highly dedicated with an eye for detail and a mastery of the lore.
